Gorgades

These were talked about in The Middle Ages as being a race of extremely hairy female humanoids. They may have been a species (or early sightings of Proto-Human Primates, similar to Yeti or Sasquatch). They were seen quite regularly in most Northern European Countries. They were known to live in hills and deep forests. They by nature shunned human contact. Their sighting fade out of documentation around the 14th Century in most Regions.
