In Chinese Mythos, ''Gonggong'' was a ''Water Dragon'' Deity. He is responsible for damage done due to water events (flooding, mudslides, tsunami etc). He features in many Mandarian Chinese Folk Tales, serving as a cautionary personification for ''procrastination'' (lack of preparedness). First found in literature as old as the 2nd BC, Gonggong can also be found (in forms), in Vietnamese and Korean Mythos as well.
