To The Native American Iroquois of The Eastern Seaboard region of North America – ‘’Gohone’’ was The ‘’God of Winter Season’’. He brought snow and ice as a means of ‘’cleansing The World’’ from the past years ‘’sorrows’’. It was from His ‘’end’’ in Spring, that all ''Life came back''. Gohone would loudly clap down His walking stick onto The Earth, which brought snow, frost and ice.
