''Godzilla vs MechaGodzilla'' (1974)

An Antagonist from the 1974 ''Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla'' King Caesar was a ''Shisa''. These were mythical Creatures in Okinawan Folklore who were ''Guardian Lions'' of a Temple. When The Earth was threatened by Mechagododzilla, King Caesar arose to protect Mankind. He is 170-feet tall and has several special abilities. Speed, strength and martial arts fighting abilities King Caesar can also absorb certain energy weapons used against Him and can ''redirect'' the beam back at His Opponent. In the 1974 film King Caesar joins forces with Godzilla against the robot, Mechagodzilla. He has appeared in (3) Godzilla themed films and a short lived Japanese Children Show called ''Godzilla Island'' in the late 1990s.
