''Goah''

Many of The Iroquois, Huron and Seneca Native American Tribes, have a shared belief in The ‘’Goah’’. The Being was perceived as an ‘’Evil Spirit’’, that was cannibalistic by nature. The Gaoh could destroy whole forests with a ''sweep of it’s arm'', when angered. The Gaoh was placed on Earth as a ‘’balance’’ to ‘’calm and peace’’ amongst Tribes. It was seen as good to have ‘’strife’’ (at times), in One’s life. Hence, most mischief and discord in Life was ‘’blamed’’ on The Gaoh.
