Glaaki

The Demi-God Race known as The Glaaki, lived in the fringes of The Universe, as related by American Horror Author, H.P Lovecraft. They where a Snail-like creature, with multiple eyes on fleshy stocks, which protruded from their heads. They viewed Humankind as weak and easily controlled entities. The Glaaki were said to have come to Earth and took up residence deep in the ground, thousands of Centuries ago. They have a protrusion which comes from their spine, with which they use to inject a powerful neurotoxin in Humans. Once so infected, the Victim becomes very much like a Zombie. One becomes the willing slave and sometimes food, of The Glaaki.
