Dating to at least the 7th Century AD (and probably pre-dating this time in Pagan Religious Practices) – The ‘’Geniscus’’ were a form of Female Demon, described as being extraordinarily Evil. They took the form of ''Beautiful Women’’, as a way of ensnaring Men. Once ‘’mesmerized’’, the Victims would eventually ‘’lose Their Souls’’. Their true form was said to be a type of ‘’Bat-like’’ Creature. Another version of Geniscus, was that they were and early Gaulish version of a ‘’Witch’’. In this form, they too assumed a ‘’pleasing look’’ - but used plants and herbs to cast Their ‘’spells’’.
