The Native American Iroquois have a Mythology regarding Gendenwitha, a Deity relative to The Morning Star. Identified by Science as the morning appearance of The Planet Venus, She featured prominently into many Native American Beliefs. Her beauty was as such, that She ''shone brightly''. She was loved by The Sun God (although she did not share the sentiment). To make sure She could not wander, Gendenwitha was guarded in The Heaven by Dawn. To avoid His ''advances'' She disappeared just prior to His ''arrival'' daily.
