Ganges Island

In yet another Case of a ‘’Vanishing Island’’, the equally mysterious ‘’fate’’ of One ‘’Ganges Island’’ was first reported around the 1880s by Cartographer’s and Sailor’s alike. The small Island was said to exist ‘’somewhere’’ between Japan and Hawaii ) although it does apparently ‘’move’’ or ‘’float’’ to different ‘’locations’’ as well. The Island is found on several Maps of The Pacific Ocean from The Era, so it DID exist at some point. However, much of the ‘’Tales’’ of Thye Island’s geography are in question. Some who said They ‘’landed’ on Ganges Island, reported ‘’strange beasts and plants’’ NEVER seen before (or at least never yet identified). Some attached an even ‘’magical’’ belief which sounds strangely like those of The Lost Continent of Lemura (of which perhaps, Ganges Island may have been part of). Sometime around the beginning of The 20th Century AD – ‘’Ganges Island’’ simply disappeared from Maps, with no real explanation given. It still has NOT reappeared……..Yet!
