In ancient Japanese Mythology – The ''Furaribi'' were said to be Yokai (Spirit or Ghosts). They can be both Human and Animal in composition (with no clear reasons given while Furaribi are ''made''. They are described in Literature as being ''Bird-Like, clothed in fire'' – streaking thru the skies. Some versions given them the face of a canine. Some accounts link them with Nature ''taking revenge'' upon Humans that ''abuse'' it – as well as in Human Ghost Tales, in which the face or head of a murdered victim is present.
