Relating to a form of Divination, ''Fuji'' was a form of ''early'' Ouija Board – or ''Spirit Communication, dating to China's Ming Dynasty (13th Century AD). Using a drawn (on the earth) pattern foundation of various Chinese characters (writing symbols), a bamboo ''cup'' device was attached to several wooden sticks. By the movement of such (by Human hand ''influenced'' by The Spirits), various anwsers to question from ''The Beyond'' could be ''received''. Unlike The traditional Western version of The Device, The Fuji could (to the unscrupulous), be manipulated. Some variations of The Fuji can still be found today in several Regions of China.
