1957s ''From Hell It Came'' is truly a classic 1950s Drive-In ''Horror'' romp. The Black and White, American production was another ''Atomic Radiation'' tale which also merged with a classic ''Ghost Story''. In summation, A South Pacific Prince is murdered by His Shaman for establishing relations with a group of visiting Americans. Their science and technology would quickly put an end to The shaman's practice, it seems. The Shaman buries The Prince into a hollowed tree, which so happens to have been irradiated by Atomic Testing. As a result, The Prince's ''body'' fuses with The Tree and presto ''Tabonga, The Tree Demon'' is born! Even though Tabonga exacts ''His ''revenge'' on The Shaman (pushing Him into a Shark Tooth Crown that would have been The Prince's), The Beast continues on His rampage killing several American Scientists. The Beast is indestructible save one thing. The knife driven into The Prince's chest can clearly be seen sticking out from the tree. A well placed rifle shot by one of The Scientists drives the handle of the blade deeper killing Tabonga.
