Seen as one of the most profitable of The American Universal Studio's ''Monster'' parings, the 1943 Black and White feature ''Frankenstein Meets The Wolfman'' combined two of their more popular Creatures. The film was a sequel of sorts to ''Ghost of Frankenstein'' and ''The Wolfman''. A ''dead'' Lawrence Talbot (The Wolfman) is buried in a Cemetery (several years hence). Grave Robbers are convinced that He was buried with expensive jewelry as plan to ''remove'' such. Digging Him up, they marvel at the sight of The Man (having not decomposed). Unfortunately for them, a full moon bathes it's light over The Corpse. Soon, ''Lawrence'' resurrects as The Wolfman (and has a ready made dinner awaiting him!). Later, aware of His eternal damnation (sans a silver bullet of course), Talbot makes His way to the only person who can help Him ''die'' Dr. Ludwig Frankenstein (yet another Frankenstein relative obsessed with resurrecting the Family Science Project and restore honor to The Family name. Finding the remains of The Frankenstein Monster (in ice) under the ruins of the Family Castle/Laboratory plans are made to use Talbot's lifeforce to revive The Monster (killing Talbot in the process hopefully for good). However, during the final phases that old moon makes an appearance, turning Him into The Wolfman.

A Partially resurrected Monster apparently does NOT like canines and the epic fight begins. Locals (as they always are in Frankenstein movies) are aware of The Doctor's experiments and plan to blow-up the local dam (which provides hydro-electric power to The Lab), The Creatures wreck havoc, throwing machines, blows and scratches at one another until the dam explodes. The on rushing water completely destroys all traces of The Castle, Lab and both of out ''Fiends''. No official sequels were planned by Universal Studios who originally thought to cut the film into two part (showing each as separate films). The subsequent screen revival of both Creatures in later films was not related to ''Frankenstein Meets The Wolfman'', as the franchise was seen to be officially finished.
