Fetch

Unique to Scotland, but very similar to the previous seen ''Doppelganger'' – The Fetch is a form of Evil Entity which, in ''Human Form'', assumes an exact likeness of another Person. To ''see oneself'' as such was seen as a ''Death Omen''. In their ''true form'' – The Fetch is a horrible, Canine-Beast – which ''wears a mask of many eyes''. This is related to the fact that a Fetch has NO face of it's own. Perhaps more akin to a Demon in Scottish Lore – the term was first ''written'' in 1583 AD, but may be closer (and older) to Pagan Beliefs.
