 Of Ancient Greek (and later Roman) invention, The Faun was a mythical creature that was part-Goat and part-Human. Fauns were Forest Spirits who reveled in delights such as wine, song and dance. Considered malevolent towards humans they often helped (and protected) animals and woodlands. They are related to Satyr's.
