Faith Healing

By it's purest definition – ''Faith Healing'' (a modern term), is the using of multiple combined prayers – and the so-called ''power'' generated from such, to literally ''heal'' or cause ''remission'' of an illness or disease. The ''phenomenon'' has been reported over the Centuries. It is thought, by bringing together a Group of Believers in whatever religious belief One has, their consistent prayers will generate ''God's'' (or whatever Deities) ''power'' to heal Person afflicted with an illness that Medical Science cannot heal or produces an unfavorable diagnosis. In Modern Times, Science (often seen as ''Fringe'' or ''Radical''), has tested this ability, to show that a measurable form of ''Energy'' is produced by Humans all ''thinking'' about a specific goal or idea. This ''Energy'' is said to be a ''healing'' component. Often attributed to ''Divine Intervention'', many examples of successful ''Faith Healing'' have been documented (with equal confusion as to ''why'' by Medical Science''). In a related vein, ''Faith Healing'' is also associated with the ''laying of Hands'' by Groups of like-minded Believers, as a means to ''focus'' Healing towards a specific location. However, as shown in the late 19th and early 20th Centuries – this form of Healing has been proven to be a popular ''Hoax'' or ''Fraud'' scheme used by early ''Tent'' and ''Evangelical Ministers''.
