Empusa

From Ancient Greece, The Empusa is a Demon spirit that takes the form of a female. They hide along mountain paths. They were known to capture unwary travelers and devour them. A Vampire Myth , they also drank human blood. The Empusa was said to be daughters of The Goddess Hecate. One of their more prominent features was their Donkey shaped feet (sometimes made of bronze). A known defense was for a traveler to immediately start insulting The Empusa if approached. They will scream and run away.
