The curious descriptive term ''Elohim'' is traced back as far as The 6th Century BC and Judiasm. The word is applied to the plural form of God (or Creator). To envoke the name ''Elohim'' was seen by Jewish Rabbi as a very powerful tool of protection and even in the Practice of Exorcism. It would later be used in Western Christianity as a form of ''praise''.
