Dating back thousands of years, ‘’Elbis’’ was part of Turkish Mythology and featured prominently. Possibly even adopted from older Islamic sources, Elbis was a ‘’War Deity’’. Shown with a frightening visage (almost demonic), He was invoked to possess His Followers heart and strike cowardice (and thus preventing Them from fighting).
