The archaic term ''Egyptian Days'' derived from The Middle Ages of Europe. By definition, the ''days'' were interpreted as ''Bad Luck''. The name ''Egyptian'' was taken from it's relation to Pagan Beliefs (non-Christian). No serious work was performed on Egyptian Days – to include bloodletting by Doctors or Barber-Surgeons. The days, which had origins in various non-Christian ceremonies and rituals, were : January 1 & 25, February 4 & 26, March 1, April 10 & 20, May 3 & 25June 10 & 16, July 13 & 22, August 1 & 30, September 3 & 22, October 3 & 22, November 5 & 28 and December 7 & 22.
