''Earthquake'' Weather

While some may see the term ''Earthquake Weather'' as a modern one, it's principle ''belief'' can by traced back to 4th Century BC Greece. Many ''Scientists'' and Philosopher's felt that the geographical phenomenon known as an Earthquake was NOT an affliction of ''The Gods'', but a natural event caused by a series of (then) unknown ''Earth'' conditions. However, long before the understanding of measurable pressures which create Earthquakes along The Planet's tectonic plates (of which ''slippage'' is the cause of the Earth to move, often violently), many thought that various external temperature (heat) conditions were also responsible for the term. Excessive Solar heating, coupled with other often predictable weather conditions, could actually cause tectonic shifting. Over the Centuries, many have ''predicted'' Earthquakes in such a manner (certain ''Hot'' Summer Seasons, often devoid of rainfall, etc.) Modern Geology however does dispute this belief, citing only a series of ''random'' Events that are often misunderstood or misread by some. However, some still believe that ''Earthquake Weather'' is a real and valid way to ''forecast'' an impending Event.
