Also called ''The Donn'' and ''Bull Island'', this is a small island located in The Dursey Sound off the Coast of Southwest Ireland (and part of County Cork). Only ''6'' Residents call Dursey home. The remainder of it's ''Residents'' are of a somewhat ''transitory'' nature. That is to say, Spirits. For thousands of years, Dursey Island was seen as a ''Gateway'' for the ''recently departed'' (both Human and ''otherwise''), as they ''moved on'' to ''The Afterlife''. Mentioned in Medieval writings as early as the 9th Century AD., ''Tribal'' incursion by The House of Donn, invaded The Island from Ireland. A fortification was said to have existed on Dursey then controlled by a mythical Goddess. Summoning a Storm at Sea, The Goddess drowns The Donn Leader and orders his remains placed on the Island (which resembles a traditional Irish Burial Mound, it seems - from the early Bronze Age). To further enshrine The Goddesses anger, She declared The Island as the focal point for ALL Spirits and Souls departing Earth for The Afterlife. It seems with such eternal ''commotion'' The Donn will not rest. Since then, reports of strange noises and spectral lights are a regular occurrence on The Island. In addition (and unrelated to The Donn), is the Ghost of a Horseman, seen galloping on the Island (since the 19th Century and linked to a local shipwreck).
