Draugr

 Another Norse legend, involves The Draugr. These are cursed spirits, condemed to be trapped in the cemetery in which they were buried. Cursed to sleep during the day and wander at light, Draugr were very similar to The Banshee. While animated, they use the decomposing bodies of their former life. Because many Viking Chieftains were buried with their treasures, Draugr will guard these (hoping to atone for their shamed life). Failure in combat or dying as a coward was just 2 ways Dragur's were made.
