With plenty of fake, thick bright Red Blood Hammer Films 1968 ''Dracula Has Risen From The Grave'' is the 4th such installment of their ''Dracula Series'', starring iconic Count, Christopher Lee. Although still ''method'' (being a Hammer Dracula Film), it still is a classic for Fans of the genre. When last we left The Count (''Dracula, Prince of Darkness''), He had fallen through the ice into moving water and vanquished (an ''Old World'' vampire killing method, believe it or not). However, local Villagers are still scared of His ''Spirit'' and stop going to Church. A brave Senior Priest climbs Dracula's Mountain to His Castle, placing a large Cross on the door of The Count's House (showing The Villagers they have noting to be afraid of). After His task, He slips and falls, hitting His head on a rock He bleeds. His ''blood'' seeps into the ice and (as you can guess) it revives Dracula! (I said it was ''method'').

The Count arises, obviously not too pleased that His Home has a Cross on The Front Door. He takes control of another local Priest's weak mind, and uses Him to help bring Dracula His victims. With a rise in deaths, The Senior Priest returns and with the help of the boyfriend of the latest victim (not yet fully made into a Bride for The Master), start to go after Our ''Hero''. A clumsy ''Stake'' Job (without the now required Religious Prayer, fails to vanquish Dracula. The aforementioned Cross has been removed from Drac's House (thrown down into the frozen ravine). Before He can enter His home though, Dracula is fought outside. Falling from the cliff, Dracula gets impaled on the Cross (remember ). Rambling around in good old fashioned Hammer Horror Film style, The Priest recites the proper Prayer and Dracula melts away to Red dust. Nice set up for the next Dracula installment................
