A Classic ''Special Effects'' feature from 1940 ''Dr, Cyclops'' was a (then) rare outing filmed entirely in Technicolor. Expensive, The Studio hoped to recoup it;s revenues based on it's clever camera trickery. It did well, even being nominated for an Oscar for Special Effects. An insane Doctor (with a Lab in The Peruvian Jungles of South America) with poor eyesight (so much so that he wears tri-focal spectacles hence the title ''Cyclops'', as well as what happens ''next''), uses a machine of His creation, to literally shrink fellow Scientists to only several inches in height. Our ''Doctor'' see's His invention as a means of benefiting Mankind. However, the Machine's power is only temporary. The subjects start to grow (slowly) and our Doc plans to kill them (least they tell the World of their non-compliance with the test). The Group is attacked by Cats, Dogs, Spiders and all manner of ''critters'' that a normal sized Person would not pay much attention too. During a climatic chase through The Jungles, The Doc is lured to His death (falling over a cliff). Our survivors all recover to their natural size.
