The personification of ‘’Evil’’ – ‘’Djall’’ was feared by Albanian Pagans. He was likened to the later Christianized ‘’Devil’’ (Satan) as well as Europe’s more traditional views on the mythical Beast known as a ‘’Dragon’’. Djall took many forms to ensnare the Souls of His Victims. He was featured in many Albanian Folklore Tales, mostly as a cautionary tale on how to avoid damnation.
