‘’Dewi Ratih’’ is a constant in Ancient Hindi Mythology as  ‘’Goddess of The Moon’’ or Lunar Deity. She was also attributed to the personification of great ‘’Beauty’’. Her origins are linked to her protection of The Great God ‘’Lala Rau’’. Poisoned by an Evil Deity, She came to His aid. As such, She ‘’left Her place in The Heavens’’. Without Her presence, The Moon went dark. This is the true ‘’cause’’ of Lunar Eclipses.
