Dermo-Optical Perception

In The World of Parapsychology, ‘’Dermo-Optical Perception’’ is the perceived ability to ‘’see’’ without Eyes (both natural blindness and by simply the ‘’closing’’ of the Eyelids). A Person so capable, can – by touch (tactile) ‘’see’’ what They are feeling in Their ‘’Minds Eye’’. Described in great detail, experiments show that said objects and locations MUST have never been seen or known of – by The Test Subject. With examples first mentioned around the 17^th Century AD in Europe (and mostly as a result of Witchcraft Trial related events) – more serious experiments were preformed in the 1930s forward. Commonly, several ‘’well known’’ Subjects would become ‘’Performers’’ in Sideshow’s as People with ‘’X-Ray Vision’’. These staged Events were more related to an Assistant who cued The Performer with unrecognized vocal keys, words and phrases – to ‘’describe’’ what The Performer needed to know. Most conventional Scientists and Physicians find Dermo-Optical Perception very much a Hoax, perpetrated by ‘’known’’ confidences or ‘’unwillingly’’ by ‘’duped’’ Subjects.
