Located in Sauherad, Southern Norway, is a quaint and quite old Church. Renovated many times, The Church may date to the 15th Century. It's inside is a treasure trove of Medieval Mural and Mosaic Art. In the late 1940s, during renovations to repair damages from World War II – Conservators found a rather alarming discovery. Hidden behind a 17th Century painting was a section of wall which was covered in hundreds of small images of none other than Demons. Why would such a thing exist in a ''House of God''? That is truly the question. The detail (in miniature) is of such detail that – One could well wonder ''what'' Human hand could perform such Art, 300 years past? The most common belief, is that a well known local 17th Century Conservator, went insane during His work. Said to be ''tormented by Demons'', perhaps this was His ''way'' of purging Himself. Other say that the best way (it was believed), to ''fight Evil'' was to ''use Evil'', and hence the creation of the ''hidden Mural''. Other still, state that perhaps there was a more sinister method. Perhaps, the ''demonically possessed'' Conservator (under control by such), ''marred'' The Holy Place on purpose. The Wall is known (and has been for Centuries, as The ''Demonveggan'' or ''Devil's Wall''.
