In truth, The Ancient Greek Scribes who first copied down Oral Folklore concerning The ‘’Demogorgon’’ – are thought to have written the Demon’s name – wrong. Most Folklorists agree that the actual name was ‘’Demiurge’’. But it was this name that stuck, so too – it’s origins. The Demogorgon was said to be the very worst of Demon Spirits to inhabit Hades. Their purpose was to ‘’torment’’ Souls – regardless of Their ‘’status’’ in The Afterlife. Thought to have been caged up by Hades (or Pluto, if you prefer), The Demogorgon’s escaped. They reside in only the deepest portion of Hades. Daylight of any kind can instantly kill Them (with no other weapon worthwhile it seems). In Greek Art, The Demogorgon’ had a wide variety of appearances and forms (each being more horrible than the next). The general view is that the Demon has ‘’Twin Heads’’, is Bipedal and generally – Reptilian in overall form.
