Death Coaches

In many European Legends, The ''Death Coach'' is a term applied to a horse drawn conveyance which (depending on which Legend or Curse), is seen as a harbinger of death or doom. Portrayed as being all Black in color, with Black Horse, sometimes a ''Driver'' is present – other times not. The so named ''Death Coach'' is often said to be completely silent (no noise of wheels turning or the hooves of Horses being heard). They are often found not only traveling on the ground – but in the air (again according to whichever Legend your are being told). Later, when the mythos moved to The Americas – The Death Coach ''transformed'' into various ''Haunted Stage Coach'' stories. However, ''Death Coaches'' are not to be confused with ''Devil's Coaches'' (as we have seen previously).
