''Dead Snow'' (''Herzog'') (2009)

The principal ''Baddie'' of the 2009 ''Zomedy'' Film ''Dead Snow'' (and it's sequels) Herzog ''was'' a German Nazi SS Officer, who (with His Company of ''Storm Troopers'') terrorized a small Mountain Village in Norway, during World War II. Evil (and proud of it), The Villagers finally kill off most of The SS soldiers (save Commander Herzog and a Squad). They flee into the frozen Hills, freezing to death. However, the Hills had a curse (even Herzog and His evil arrived). An unseen Entity taps Herzog's evil and preserves it. Tales persist for generations that Herzog hid gold and jewels from many of His Occupations. All this excites a Group of College Student/Tourists. By chance they find a box of Herzog's Gold and steal it. Suddenly, a now zombified Herzog arises intent on seeking revenge against those who stole His treasures. He soon resurrects His former (also zombified) Squad, and they go on a ''slash and dash'' rampage to recover and punish those who stole The Gold. A typical ''Walking Dead'', Herzog is a rotting corpse somewhat lucky to have been partially preserved by years of Ice. He still retains His SS Uniform and command authority over His ''Troops'' (who are also in various stages of frozen decomposition). Lots of Blood and Gore, but still well worth a look for Fans of the Genre.
