''Darkness Falls'' (Matilda Dixon) (2005)

 Matilda Dixon was the main creature featured in the 2003 American Horror film Darkness Falls. Her backstory goes as such. Set in 19th Century Massachusetts (in the Town of Darkness Falls), Matilda was a kindly old woman who loved children. She suffered however from a disease, making it impossible to go out into the daylight (lest he suffer horrible burns). When she did, she had to wear a mask to protect her face. Children still loved Matilda, and would often take their baby teeth to her  in exchange for a gold coin. Matilda quickly earned the title of The Tooth Fairy. Most of the Town's adults did not like Matilda. When one of the children went missing (and presumed dead), they blamed Matilda. The adults stormed Matilda's home, and burned it down (with her in it). Therein lays her curse. From that day forward, if you loose a tooth  Matilda will come to you in the dark of the night. If you see her (and make eye contact with her terrible visage) -  she will kill you (most horribly). Matilda is still hampered by her disease as well. Any form of light will cause her to run away (least she burn).
