From Arabic Religious beliefs, The ''Darda'il'' were a class of Angelic Beings, responsible for roaming the World in search of ''True Believers'' in The Islamic (and related) Faith. Normally brought about through ''collective prayer'' or related religious gathering, The Darda'ill make their presence known by influencing those in prayer with religious ''imagery''. A comparative Western Christian phenomenon would be akin to the speaking of unknown languages or being ''given messages'' from God.
