Dante's Inferno - 2nd Cricle of Hell - Lust

Hell's ''2nd Circle'' of Torment is ''Lust''. It is here that those, while on Earth – indulged in all forms of sexual and sensual perversions or transgressions. ''Commanded'' by The Ancient Greek King Minos, whose sins were ''well known'', The 2nd Circle features no Castles or amenities. Men and Women suffer equally here. Various (different) punishments are based on perhaps – the ''inability'' to achieve sensual pleasures, to NEVER to again experience Love. An ''orgy of carnal delights'' are offered – but no satisfaction is granted. Guarded by several Legions of Demons at The 2nd Levels ''Gates'', attempted escape is met with more physical forms of torture until The Sinner ''begs'' to return to His or Her ''previous'' torments. It was said by Dante – that ''violent wind storms'' sweep frequently thru The 2nd Circle, to symbolize the ''madness'' of ''carnal lust''.
