According to Ancient Greek Mythology, The ‘’Danaides’’ were Demi-Goddesses (Part Human and Part God), who numbered 50 in count. Each Sister married well, but grew tired of Their Husbands and each drowned them in water. As punishment, when They died, Zeus banished Them to Tartarus (Hell’s worst level of torment). There – each Sister were punished with never ending thirst, and would spend Eternity filling a large Vase with water. But as soon as the Vase was filled, it would spring a leak.
