Cuero

 This very unusual creature is said to live in Chile, South America. Said to inhabit Lake Lacar (in The Andes), it resembles a large pirce of floating animal hide . It had two eyes affixed to long fleshy eye stalks. The creature also has razor sharp horns all around it's sides. It's Floating Hide-like appearance is a ruse to trap unwary prey (who might be scavenging near the lake for food). Think The Cuero is a free meal, they are soon sadly mistaken. The Cuero envelopes it's victims and drags them underwater (to feast in peace). Local Native often try to sell preserved Cureo hides to Tourists.
