Horror Writer HP Lovecraft's ''primary'' Baddie within His ''Monsterverse'' – ''Cthulhu'' is perhaps the most recognized. First appearing in 1928's ''Weird Tales'' (a Pulp Magazine) ''The Call of Cthulhu'', this Being is part of The ''Great Old Ones'' who were once Rulers of Ancient Earth – and banished to an inter-dimensional plane of existence. Cthulhu is a massive Hybrid – part Octopus, Dragon and at times – Humanoid Being. Capable of achieving ''hundreds of feet'' in height – He is considered a ''Master of All Waters'', most found materialized in such. Unlike other ''Great Old Ones'', Cthulhu has managed to find breaches into Our World. This ''feat'' is accomplished by Cthulhu tricking Humans with ''magical powers'' to use Sorcery to open portals between dimensions. Able to control ''lessor'' Dimensional Beings, Cthulhu's main goal is to open a stable portal and bring back The ''Great Old Ones'' to rule The Earth – forever.
