Okay. There's no ''Banshee'' (Evil Scottish Spirit) and the 1970 American made ''Cry of The Banshee'' only has famed Horror Actor Vincent Price to boast it. It's one of those ''Horror Movies'' that isn't really a Horror Movie (per se). Price is a 17th Century Witch Hunter (of course), whose is NOT a nice guy. He has taken it upon Himself to ''rid'' The Country of Witches. His methods are cruel and heavy handed. Even His Sons are part of the act (equally cruel). Locating a certain local Coven, Price kills most of them save The Leader. She seeks revenge by conjuring up an unseen Demon (no budget apparently), and curses Price and His Family. The Demon takes up residence in the body of a trusted household Servant. ''He'' sets about killing The Family. Price is able to find the Witch and kill Her as well as figuring out that His Servant is possessed. This is handled by a Blunderbuss to the head! Still having His two younger children, Price is horrified to learn that when He killed His possessed Servant, the ''Demon'' jumped into the body of another. It whacks his two surviving children and we assume Price goes insane.
