Corpse Candle

 A Welsh Legend, The Canhywallan Cyrth - known as "The Corpse Candle", is ant alleged Paranormal phenomenon first documented in the 17th Century. The phenomenon is much like The "Ghost Lights". They are seen when a person's death is imminent. The resembled a long, glowing candle, and appear to "float" near the home of those "soon" to die. It is said that if the "flame" appears as "Blue", a child will die. Orange-Red is the sign for an Adult. Some Debunkers point to "Swamp Gas" or Carbon Monoxide emissions from Swamps and Bogs, reacting to environmental conditions. Corpse Candles and their Sighting seem to have continued into the 19th Century, when their "sightings" began to dwindle.
