Seen and used as an Italian ''Good Luck'' Talisman – a Cornicello is a small Horn shaped device worn about the neck. Seen to promote ''fertility and virility'' as well, The Cornicello was actually based on the 16th Century AD practice of using Red Peppers (shaped identically), to ward of illness and disease. Other origins of The Cornicello was that it was the horn of a Goat from one of The Greek God's Zeus sacred Herds. This Horn was said to empower it's Owner with ''power''.
