Con Rit

Said to be a ‘’Living Fossil’’, The ‘’Con Rit’’ was said to be a massive, segmented Insect Creature. Much like a Centipede, The Con Rit was nearly 60-feet long and rather carnivorous (said to be able to consume a Water Buffalo without issue). European Explorers to Southeast Asia (in particular Vietnam, Loas and Thailand), claimed to have ‘’seen’’ such a Beast (reported in 1833), but without photographic records – it was thought to be nothing more than a misidentified species (although nothing could be accounted for the sheer size of The Con Rit). Local Native state that The Creature has lived in The Region for uncounted Generations. Fossil Records do bear out the existence of a form of Giant Centipede, existed 300 Million Years hence. As late at the 20^th Century Ad – and both The French Indo-Chinese War of the 1950s and the following War in Vietnam (1960s), some Soldiers have stated that while on Patrol in the deep jungles, They have ‘’seen’’ Creatures (although much smaller), very much like The Con Rit. In some of these reports, such species were said to be as long as 6-feet long (still a massive size). Perhaps, deep within the jungles, Giant Centipedes are still waiting to be found.
