Cleromancy

The term ''Cleromancy'' has various applications throughout History and in many Cultures and Beliefs. In short, it is the making final of decisions thru a variety of devices (such as the casting of Lots). These ''Lots'' could be paper, wood etc. The idea was to select a chosen belief or agenda to advance thru vote. This was based on a difference in the used device. If a particular Lot was smaller, longer or different color, then this would be the selected ''course of action''. In Literature, Cleromancy was used to select sacrificed victims or those chosen for some fatal adventure. In Divination, Cleromancy was used to determine Guilt, Innocence and even possible decisions on The Future.
