A demi-Goddess, Circe was the Daughter of Helios and Perse, Circe was described as "beautiful beyond words" and quite irresistible. She lived on a secluded island of the West Coast of Italy. She was said to be able to bewitch those men who failed to love her into drinking one of her potions. Once done, Circes would then turn them into whichever "animal" she though best suited their personality. Her legends changed somewhat to fit Greek Epic Writer Homer's "The Odyssey". Made more supernatural in character, Circe used her charms to trap the hero Odysseus and his Crew on her uncharted island. Turning his crew in lions, wolves, dogs, pigs and birds - she enchanted Odysseus to be with her for many years (time on her island is much slower). He was able to break her enchantment, save his crew and escape her island finally.
