Churel

 She is seen in Mythos from South Asia to India and surrounding Regions. Of the Vampire-Family, Churel is also referred to as a Witch. Churels are made when a woman dies in childbirth due to neglect. Returning in their often frightful visage, they drain the blood (and other fluids) of all Male relatives who allowed the transgression to begin with!. Churel with also assume a beautiful appearance (again depending on Region). They are sometimes described as walking backwards with their legs positioned in reverse! They are often associated with graveyards and place of filth (sewers, etc.) One way to arrest a Churel is during daylight hours. First one must either find the Churel's body and drive nails into her hands and feet. The other is to build a special house over her grave or resting place (so she will rise but will not be able to leave).
