Chilote

 From Southern Chile (South America), comes the Chilote. These are another Snake/Reptile Hybrid. They have the heads of a Rooster. Similar to The Colo Colo, these creatures will burrow under one's home. When their prey (you and your family) are asleep, they come out and begin to drain you of your bodies water! Eventually, you will grow weak and die. A more complicated removal method, involves a Shaman who must locate a Chichen egg known to be a future Chilote. The egg must be burned and the Hen killed as well. This will cause The Chilote to leave his new home . Many Scholars of The Macabre closely identify The Chilote with the European Cockatrice legends of The Middle Ages.
