Chichcharney

 A mythical bird-like creature, they were said to have once lived on the Island of Andros (near The Caribbean Bahamas). They have human qualities, they were said to have ugly feathering (which was why other feathered creatures stayed away from them!). They also were said to have human-like hands and lived only in Pine Trees. If a passerby saw a Chichcharney (and he treated it well), one would have good luck. Of course the opposite would happen if one hurt or insulted the creature.
