Cherruve

A Mythic Creature from South America (Chile), The Cherruve is a Serpent-like Beast associated with Comets and Volcanoes. They are said to resemble a glowing Snake. Ancient Tribes in The Region would see them travel through the Night Sky. During the Day, The Cherruve live in Volcanoes. Their stirrings are felt with the trembling of the ground and rumble from a Volcano. Eruptions are seen as The Cherruve preparing to fly into Space. Some variations on The Cherruve Myth have them being more akin to Dragons. Many Regional Stories are told often using Cherruve as Plot devices.
