The Mapuche Tribes of Argentina and Chlie have a Mythos regarding the use of ''Chemamull''. These are wooden Statues of various sizes (as small as 6-inches to as large as 4-feet). Carved by hand, these are Ancestor Icons designed to ''lure'' possible Spirits that wander ''lost''. Inhabiting The Chemamull, these Icons can be placed on Tribal Altars, even being placed on the Graves of Ancestors (as a type of Tombstone). As long as The Spirit has a ''home'', no harm will come to The Family of a Deceased.
