In Hindu Culture, a ‘’Chedpie’’ was what traditional European Folk Culture would identify as a ‘’Vampire’’. But the word was more closely associated with a Female Prostitute as well. This Class of ‘’Demonic Entity’’ was though to come only from what Hindu Culture considered ‘’vulgar women’’. Also merging Women who died in Childbirth (unnaturally), The Chedpie mythos was crafted. The Being – like other Vampires, can only hunt at night. ‘’She’’ rides into a Village on a Tiger, seeking just the right kind of House (Family). Putting a magical spell onto all inside, The Chedipe then creeps inside to drink Her fill. The blood drank is only taking from the toes of Her Victims (although not explained in Culture, it is thought that Her ‘’bite’’ would be much harder to see). Some other versions of The Chedipe Legend states They only hunt ‘’cruel Men’’ (or the kind who would frequent a Bordello anyway).  The process of blood draining will persist for many weeks, with her victims having no knowledge of The Chedipe nightly attacks. Eventually, without help – She will drain and kill all of her victims.
